Research Support

Research that is methodologically sound, clearly analysed and well communicated.

Good research begins with curiosity, but it becomes meaningful only when that curiosity is translated into the right question, the right design and an analysis that genuinely answers what was asked. I support students, clinicians, faculty members and researchers across different subject areas, with particular experience in health and allied sciences.

My role is not simply to suggest a statistical test or edit a manuscript. I work through the logic of the study, from the research question and methodology to the data, analysis, interpretation and communication, so that each part supports the next. Methods are chosen because they are appropriate to the question, not because they are familiar or convenient.

The aim is to help produce research that is methodologically sound, analytically defensible and clearly communicated, while ensuring that the researcher understands the reasoning behind the work. Good research should not only generate results; it should withstand questioning, add meaning to the evidence and leave the researcher more confident in how they arrived there.

Research pathway

From question to communication.

A research project moves through connected stages. The pathway below progresses automatically to show how support can fit across the process.

Question

Clarifying the research problem, framing objectives, refining variables and ensuring the question is specific enough to guide the rest of the work.

Research questionObjectivesVariables

Plan the research

Research questions, study design, methodology, variable planning, sample-size calculation and protocol development.

Analyse the data

Statistical analysis using SPSS and R, selection of appropriate methods, interpretation, tables, figures and publication-ready results.

Write & communicate

Thesis and dissertation guidance, scientific writing, manuscript development, journal submission and responses to reviewers.

Synthesize evidence

Literature reviews, systematic reviews, evidence synthesis and structured scientific reporting.

Working together

Scope first, then work begins.

Begin by sharing the research question, current stage of work, expected deliverables and timeline. The requirement is reviewed before the scope and professional fee are proposed.

Research fees are based on scope. A 50% advance is generally required after the scope, deliverables and timeline have been agreed. Larger projects may use milestone-based payment terms.

Research enquiry

Tell me about your project.

Most enquiries are acknowledged within 24 hours and answered in detail within one to two working days. Please do not submit identifiable participant data or highly confidential material through this form.
