Nutrition Consultation
Nutrition care is most effective when it is considered within the broader clinical picture rather than in isolation. Medical history, investigations, medications, symptoms, dietary intake, lifestyle, nutritional status and personal preferences all influence the type of guidance that may be appropriate. I work across different stages of life and clinical nutrition needs, developing recommendations that are tailored to the individual rather than based on a generic diet plan.
In an environment where nutrition advice is increasingly shared through social media and short-term certification courses, it is important to distinguish general nutrition education from professional dietetic practice. Short courses may add to someone’s knowledge, but they do not replace formal academic training, supervised clinical experience or professional credentialing required for evidence-based nutrition practice.
As a nationally accredited Registered Dietitian with the Indian Dietetic Association (Registration No. 722020), with formal training in Nutrition and Dietetics and extensive clinical and research experience, I bring a structured, evidence-based and clinically informed approach to nutrition care. The focus is on identifying nutritional priorities, addressing dietary gaps and developing an approach that is clinically relevant, nutritionally adequate and practical enough to sustain over time.
